Layton - KNEADERS BAKERY AND CAFE opened a new location at 480 W. Antelope Drive, and the hours of operation are Monday - Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Kneaders' Layton location is run by franchisees Andrew and Shauna Smith and their partners Riley and Allison Booth.

Ogden - TECHMEDIANETWORK has added BRIGHT HUB as a publisher in its network of web partners. Bright Hub will participate in combined advertising, marketing and other monetization efforts driven by TechMediaNetwork. At Bright Hub, users can find technology and science articles, guidance for business, educational or computing professionals, and how-to information on parenting, home and health.

Ogden - The first phase of construction of Wildcat Village at WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY is complete. Wildcat Village replaces LaSal, Wasatch and Stansbury halls, which have been demolished. When finished, Wildcat Village will house more than 500 students in three buildings. The semicircle positioning of the buildings will foster a community atmosphere by opening onto a courtyard with playing fields, a volleyball court, fire pit and other facilities.

Clearfield - The 3rd Annual PARC PALLET GRAND PRIX took place to bring awareness of the untapped labor pool of people with disabilities. Each entrant was assigned a "pit crew" composed of hardworking individuals with disabilities to cheer their company on. The company supplied the power (two people to push) and PARC supplied the riders. After the races, PARC honored individuals with disabilities who have made great progress towards independence through employment.
