WYCLEF JEAN'S STREETWISE SECOND ALBUM

It's a chilly spring day in Philadelphia, and Wyclef Jean is enjoying a much-needed day off. The 30-year-old singer is exhausted from touring with his band the Refugee Camp, so he's having the first of five cups of coffee in an attempt to recover. And yet he couldn't be more content. "I'm probably more happy now than I've ever been," he says. "I'm doing my thing. It's all good."

That goodness includes Jean's second solo album, The Ecleftic--Two Sides of a Book, which is set for release in July. The new album comes nearly four years after Jean's group The Fugees released The Score, which sold more than 7 million copies in the U.S., and three years since he released his solo album The Carnival, which sold 2 million copies. There are rumors that The Fugees have no plans to reunite, but Jean won't comment on that.
