It is incredible that a serious publication such as The Progressive would publish the rant of the half-witted Eduardo Galeano ("The Curse of Columbus," October issue). I thought The Progressive was devoted to problems that affect the U.S.A. in the present, not to publishing half-truths concerning what happened 500 years ago.
