"Bush Follows the Road Map" (May issue) is an impeccable synopsis of the dangers of the current Bush Administration to people at home and abroad.

The last paragraph speaks of contacting our representatives. I have contacted my representatives, both Republican and Democrat, and found my concerns falling on deaf ears.

The insidious acts of the Bush Administration would be much more difficult to pass were there a Democratic opposition. Aside from Barbara Lee of California and a handful of others at the national level, there is no opposition. The Democratic Presidential contenders seem to be trying, Dennis Kucinich being a notable exception, to show how tough they are on defense.

Bottom line: There is no righteous and loud indignation from most national...
