Nissan recalls trucks for labeling error.

* Nissan Motor Co. is recalling certain Titan pickup trucks from the 2012 model year because they have improper seating-capacity labels that could lead owners to overload the vehicles and increase the risk of a crash, the Wall Street Journal has reported. The recall reflects tight safety regulations in the auto industry and the fact that manufacturers cannot depend on the common sense of drivers to insure vehicles are operated in a safe manner.

In a document filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Nissan said 918 Titan Trucks built from June 10 through July 22,2011, and equipped with the "sports appearance package" have incorrect seating capacity...
