NexVue Information Systems, a financial and operational systems integrator, has launched the BIO[TM] (Business Information Optimization) product line. The Stamford, Conn.-based firm calls BIO the first packaged business analytics application to address the specific requirements of medium-sized companies.

BIO leverages the Microsoft Business Intelligence platform, providing a cost-effective venue in which non-technical business users can perform self-service, interactive, operational, strategic and financial analytics, NexVue says. BIO "is the first interactive business intelligence solution to enable organizations to achieve informational efficiency for about 25 to 30 percent of the cost of competing applications," claims NexVue founder Dan Schwartz.
