New York Insurance Association Elects 2021 Officers and Board of Directors.

* The New York Insurance Association (NYIA) announces the election of its 2021 officers and board of directors.

The following officers were elected for a one-year term ending Dec. 31,2021:

Chair: Mark Prechtl, president and chief executive officer, Chautauqua Patrons Insurance Company, Jamestown, N.Y.

First vice chair: Charles Makey, senior vice president, insurance operations, Merchants Insurance Group, Buffalo, N.Y.

Second vice chair: Edward Harper, president and chief executive officer, Statewide Underwriting Services, Schenectady, N.Y.

Treasurer: Norman Orlowski, Jr., president and chief executive officer, Erie and Niagara Insurance Association, Williamsville, N.Y.

The following director was elected for a two-year term ending Dec. 31, 2022:
