The New York Chapter held its 12th Annual, two-day LB&I Financial Services Industry Conference in New York City in early October. In keeping with tradition, chapter leadership, working in conjunction with the IRS's Large Business & International Division, developed and delivered a first class program, attended by over 150 members and government personnel, including several senior IRS and Treasury officials.

Attendees were able to engage with Deborah Nolan of Ernst & Young (and former LMSB Commissioner) to discuss LB&I Compliance and Resolution Tools. In addition, LB&I Deputy Commissioner (International) Michael Danilack discussed how the division's newly organized international practice networks (IPNs) and issue practice groups (IPGs) will operate and how they will affect a taxpayer's examination experience.
