Archivist of the United States and National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) Chairman Allen Weinstein recently announced the appointment of Kathleen M. Williams as executive director of the NHPRC. Williams, who has served as acting executive director since January 2008, replaces former director Max Evans.
