New Jersey Chapter meets in Morristown.

On Friday, May 12th, 2006, the New Jersey Chapter brightened the spring season with the Chapter s Full Day Spring Seminar at the Hyatt Morristown. The meeting, the Chapter's final full day seminar of the season, featured an array of excellent national and local speakers on a variety of important topics. Ernst & Young LLP co-presented the seminar. Mitchell Solomowitz, Chapter President, had been expecting a large turnout, and he was not disappointed. More than 125 tax executives attended.

During the meeting, the Chapter held concurrent sessions for federal, international, and state & local topics. Attendees chose from various sessions in an open-registration format. Ernst & Young LLP provided a dynamic group of speakers, including P. Michael Baldasaro of the New York office (Accounting for Taxes Update), Susan Minasian Grais of the Washington office and Dino Lombardi of the New York office (Accounting Methods Update), Chetan Prabhu of the New York office (Doing Business in India), and Marc Ganz (Section 965), Brian Scanlon (State Business Taxes), and Ken Hausser (State Employment Taxes) of the Iselin, New Jersey office.
