New Jersey Chapter meeting attracts nearly 150.

On May 11, the New Jersey Chapter welcomed 140 members to a full-day seminar at the Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph, New Jersey. The day began with a networking session over a fine selection of breakfast pastries which tested even the most resolute of dieters. TEI members also had their choice of various technical sessions with concurrent sessions covering international, federal, and state and local issues.

The state and local track began with Richard W. Genetelli of Genetelli Consulting Group summarizing developments concerning New York State and City combined reporting requirements, as well as providing other significant updates from around the country. Morning sessions included a presentation on Canadian and U.K. issues, a tax practitioner's guide to corporate agreements, and intangibles planning.

During lunch, Chapter President Barbara Ann Buklad of BASF Corporation praising the work done by so many volunteers to make the seminar possible. The luncheon program also documented the New Jersey Chapter's robust scholarship program with two awards presented to...
