An NBER conference on New Directions in Transportation Economics took place May 25 online. Research Associates Edward L. Glaeser of Harvard University, James M. Poterba of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Stephen J. Redding of Princeton University organized the meeting, which was supported by the US Department of Transportation through an interagency agreement with the National Science Foundation, grant #1559013. A keynote address was delivered by Alexander Budzier of the University of Oxford. Tese researchers' papers were presented and discussed:
