New bourbon bar, restaurant opens at warehouse district in Greenville.

The development group that brought The Warehouse at Vaughn's in Simpsonville, Warehouse at Midtown, and the recently announced City Market at BridgeWay Station in Mauldin, just opened a new bourbon bar and restaurant concept at Hampton Station in Greenville on Wednesday.

Bourbon Street at Hampton Station, 1320 Hampton Avenue Extension, is under the Dine Development Group LLC umbrella, which is a group known for the development of food halls in the Upstate, including at BridgeWay Station in Mauldin.

Built in the 1990s, Hampton Station was an old cotton warehouse, according to a post on Bourbon Street's Facebook page.

"With its brick walls [and] original timbered ceilings, it was the perfect fit and we fell in love," the post stated.

The bar top was purchased from the former Liberty Taproom.

"We love that it already has a history. We moved this 60 foot long bar piece [and] it is a showstopper. Reclaimed lumber from the warehouse itself can be seen everywhere you look in this amazing building," the Facebook post stated.
