Brothers Tracey and Tim Canaday started making snowboards as Fort Collins teenagers in 1983, using their parents' garage as a shop. In 1991, the pair launched Never Summer Snowboards, which Tracey described as "a premium snowboard manufacturer" that today is one of two such businesses making most of its product domestically.
