Research Acquisition Activity seeks applications for the
Neurobromatosis (NF), Investigator-Initiated Research

Scope: The Defense Department’s U.S. Army Medical
Research Acquisition Activity seeks applications for
the Neurobromatosis (NF), Synergistic Idea Award
announcement to support new ideas that represent
synergistic approaches to neurobromatosis research
involving two or three Principal Investigators.

the Breast Cancer Research Program Era of Hope
Scholar Award announcement to support individuals
early in their careers who have demonstrated signicant
potential to effect meaningful change in breast cancer.

Scholar Award application.
Eligibility: Unrestricted.
Areas: DOD said all Hope Scholar Award applications
must address at least one of the following over-
arching challenges: preventing breast cancer (primary
prevention); identifying determinants of breast cancer
initiation, risk or susceptibility; distinguishing deadly from
nondeadly breast cancers; or conquering the problems
of overdiagnosis and overtreatment; among others.
