Nebraska Education Law Symposium

President George Bush recently stated that "the most important objective of all is that every child in America gets educated. It is a national priority and it's a goal that I'm actually confident that this great nation can achieve."1 As our new President focuses the country's attention on education, the hopes of the nation turn to developments in this essential field of domestic policy. In this issue, the Nebraska Law Review presents several articles on a topic of paramount concern to our new President, and with him, every citizen of our nation: the education of our children.

The articles in this Symposium were contributed by both professors and practitioners of education law in Nebraska and are designed to provide the reader with a broad range of information in a condensed, easy-to-read format. The articles not only give a cutting edge look at what it means to practice education law in Nebraska today, but also provide an analysis of important education topics from across the nation.
