Per Stromberg is a Faculty Research Fellow in the NBER's Program on Corporate Finance and an Associate Professor of Finance at the Graduate School of Business (GSB) of the University of Chicago. He has been a member of the GSB faculty since 1997, and previously taught at the Stockholm School of Economics and at Carnegie Mellon University.

Stromberg received his Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Carnegie Mellon University. He also holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.
