Patricia Danzon is a Research Associate in the NBER's Program on Health Care and the Celia Moh Professor at q-he Wharton School of Management, University of Pennsylvania. She is also Chair of the Health Care Systems Department and a Professor in the Department of Insurance and Risk Management at Wharton.

Danzon received a B.A. from Oxford University, England, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. She has previously held faculty positions at Duke University and a visiting position at the University of Chicago.
