Jonathan A. Parker is a Research Associate in the NBER's Programs on Monetary Economics, Economic Fluctuations and Growth, and Asset Pricing. He also holds the Donald C. Clark/HSBC Chaired Professorship in Consumer Finance at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he teaches macroeconomics and finance.

Parker received his Ph.D. in economics in 1996 from MIT, where he was awarded the Robert Solow Endowment Prize for excellence in research and teaching.
