I enjoyed reading the story in your July issue on Campbell University's plans to start an osteopathic medical school. It's an exciting venture, one that will surely provide improved medical care for N.C. residents, especially those of us in rural areas of the state. There is a correction to the story that bears pointing out because it's a matter of pride to Rockingham and Richmond County: Campbell President Jerry Wallace is referred to as a native of Rocky Mount.
