The National Business Education Association (NBEA) is an organization whose efforts are focused on all major aspects of business instruction, administration, and research. both the public and private sectors of business. Its motto is "Educating for Success in Business and Life."

The NBEA is administered by an executive board that includes four officers (president, president-elect, secretary-treasurer, and past president) and an executive director. Additionally, the executive board consists of representatives from each of the five regions (Eastern, Southern, North Central, Mountain-Plains, and Western) and the president of each of its five regional affiliates. The executive board also has representatives from two organizations, the National Association for Business Teacher Education (NABTE) and the International Society for Business Education.

The NBEA's official publication is the Business Education Forum, which is published four times a year. Articles are submitted and reviewed by editors from the NBEA membership under one or more of the following topic areas: accounting, basic business and economics, communication, entrepreneurship, international business, marketing, methods, research, student organizations, technology, and NABTE.
