The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) issued a final rule to modify NARA facility standards for records storage facilities that house federal records to
* Clarify requirements relating to design or certification of multiple-story facilities and fire detection and protection systems
* Revise certain requirements relating to fire ratings of roofs, building columns, and fire barrier walls
* Clarify the application of other requirements
