NANA Development Corp. purchased Grand Isle Shipyard Inc., an oil and gas services company in Louisiana. Grand Isle employs more than 1,400 people and provides contract services for repair and maintenance on more than 700 offshore platforms in the Louisiana Gulf Coast. Primary customers include BP, Chevron and Shell. NANA Development is the business arm of NANA Regional Corp. Inc. NANA officials reported that top Grand Isle executives would continue to serve in pre-purchase roles.
