Namibia has inflation concerns.

Inflation is of increasing concern to Namibian consumers because of rising oil prices. Oil prices have risen three times in the country since April 2005, according to a report in New Era (Windhoek) published on October 28, 2005.

In addition to higher costs for fuel for private vehicles, taxi fares have gone up. Namibia's fishing industry is being affected by higher costs for oil and these costs are likely to be passed on to consumers for the fish caught and consumed locally.
