EDWARD BARNES was named Chief Accounting Officer and Controller for Jetblue Airways Corp., a discount airline headquartered in Forest Hills, N.Y.

STEVE BARNHART, formerly CFO of Orbitz Worldwide, has been promoted to CEO and President of the online travel company. Based in Chicago, Orbitz is a division of Travelport.

PATRICIA M. BEDIENT was promoted to Executive Vice President and CFO of Weyerhaeuser Co., an integrated forest-products company headquartered in Federal Way, Wash.

* FRANK H. BROD (Washington State Chapter) has been appointed to the Governor's Council of Economic Advisors in Washington State. Brod is Corporate Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Accounting Officer for Microsoft Corp. He is a member of the Emerging Issues Task Force of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Standards Advisory Council of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). He is also a member and past President of FEI's Committee on Corporate Reporting (CCR).

* JEFFREY S. CAMPBELL (New Jersey Chapter) was appointed Executive Vice President and CFO for Alpharma Inc., in Bridgewater, N.J. Alpharma is a global specialty pharmaceutical company with leadership positions in products for humans and animals.

DONALD CAUGHILL was named Campus Controller for Johnson & Wales University's North Miami Campus in North Miami, Fla.

* JERRY DE ST. PAER (New York City Chapter), Senior Vice President--Finance of American International Group (AIG), in New York, was elected Chairman and Treasurer of the Group of North American Insurance Enterprises (GNAIE). De St. Paer is a member of the Insurance Working Group of the International Accounting Standards Board.

JOHN DIBLANDA was named CFO of Delos Insurance Group, a business insurer, in New York.

* WANDA MCDONALD (Chicago Chapter) was promoted to CFO of Cramer-Krasselt, the third-largest independent advertising agency in the U.S., with billings nearing $800 million in 2006.
