* FRED D. ANDERSON, CPA (Silicon Valley Chapter), the recently retired Executive Vice President and CFO of Apple Computer Inc., was elected to Apple's Board of Directors.

* STEVE CARTER, CPA (Fox-Rock Chapter), was elected to the Board of Directors of Appleton in Appleton, Wis. Carter is Executive Vice President, CFO and Treasurer of Woodward Governor Co. in Rockford, Ill.
