* James W. Barge, CPA (New York City Chapter), was named Executive Vice President, Controller, Tax and Treasury for Viacom Inc., in New York. Viacom is a world-leading entertainment content company that includes among its brands BET and MTV Networks, Dreamworks and Paramount Pictures.

* Richard D. Brounstein (Silicon Valley Chapter), was appointed CFO for New-Cardio Inc. New Cardlio is a Silicon Valley-based company that's developing a novel patent-pending electrocardiography (ECG) platform technology to improve the standard ECG for heart disease. Brounstein chairs FEI's Task Force on Monitoring, is a member of COSO's Monitoring Project Task Force and has served on the SEC Advisory Committee on Smaller Public Companies
