The N.C. Small Business Center Network (SBCN), operated through the N.C. Community College System, is the largest state-supported .small business assistance program, serving more than 70.000 North Carolinians each year. The 61 centers located at community colleges throughout the state are aligned with the state's eight new Prosperity Zones. Potential or current business owners can take advantage of high-quality, readily accessible assistance that includes: resource and referral information for a variety of business needs: free confidential one-on-one business counseling services: and high-impact seminars and classes available free of charge or for a minimal registration fee.
