At its Aug. 22-23 meeting, the Appraisal Institute Board of Directors approved the Multi-Membership Programs, which allows members to get all of the advantages of membership for a lower rate when their company joins the Appraisal Institute. This new program is designed to provide discounts to firms, companies and government offices with multiple Designated and/or Associate members of the Appraisal Institute.
To qualify for the Multi-Membership Program each firm must
employ individuals who are engaged in work identified by the Appraisal Institute's Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and who are eligible for Appraisal Institute membership ("Eligible Employees");
employ a minimum of five eligible employees;
agree that at least 80 percent of all eligible employees will be Appraisal Institute Associate or Designated members; and
agree to pay all participating eligible employees' national Appraisal Institute membership dues directly to the Appraisal Institute.
