MTC freezes tuition for 2021-22 school year.

Midlands Technical College has frozen tuition for the 2021-22 school year, marking the second consecutive year that the college will not raise tuition rates.

MTC's administration made the freeze recommendation and the Midlands Technical College Commission approve the plan during its monthly meeting on April 21.

"Many of our families have been dealing with financial setbacks caused by COVID-19," Ron Rhames, MTC president, said in a news release. "The MTC Commission has always recognized that students are our priority and is committed to making sure a quality education is accessible and affordable."
