Areas: DOJ said the successful applicant will capture,
create and produce professional-quality, high-resolution
videos of presentations for viewing in their entirety on the
website; a variety of short video clips; and multiple still
shots to utilize on NIC digital learning platforms, in NIC
learning products, on the NIC website, in print materials
and in NIC’s Learning Management System. The three
to four 90-minute presentations should be edited and
captioned and meet current federal 508 compliance
requirements. Additional unedited short videos must be
.mp4 (preferred) or .m4v, .mov or .avi format, and candid
shots should be DSLR quality (12 megapixels or better),
RAW, or high-quality JPEG or PNG.

Microsite Development (DOJ)
Scope: The Justice Department’s National Institute of
Corrections (NIC) seeks applications for the Advancing
Community Supervision Strategies Microsite Development
announcement to provide a comprehensive one-stop
shop of reliable resources to aid community supervision
agencies in making informed decisions regarding
technology, programs and practices that will enhance
their ability to address public and employee safety.

organizations, nonprot organizations and Native
American tribal organizations.
Areas: DOJ said NIC would like to accelerate the
development of specic content areas of the site through
information gathering and writing assistance. Some of
those areas include virtual offices, mobile devices, GPS,
body-worn cameras, ankle monitors and point-and-shoot
readers, video teleconferencing, social media and scanning
software (offender computers/phones), among others.

and fatalities, and hazardous material incidents involving
commercial motor vehicles.

$350,000 to $32 million.

enforcement, compliance reviews/investigations, public
education and awareness, data collection and new-
