It is with much interest that I read the letter of Kathleen Dunleavy (March-April 2003) regarding Bolivian cuisine. I am originally from La Paz, Bolivia, and have lived in the United States for over forty years. I own two booklets with over thirty delicious and remarkable Bolivian recipes, especially Andean food. Also, there is a Bolivian colony in this part of California that would be happy to provide additional, more detailed information on this subject. The booklets are in Spanish, but it would be easy to translate them. I would be very happy to provide additional information...
