One of the most enjoyable elements of living in Southcentral Alaska is the ability to go from being immersed in urban life to venturing into a relatively untouched wilderness, usually within an easy driving distance.

For those of us who want to explore the outdoors, yet not freeze in a tent, a bed and breakfast can be a great option for a weekend escape. A relaxing and friendly atmosphere with all the comforts of home, a hot breakfast every morning, and owners who are truly interested in making your stay a memorable one--this is upscale "camping" at its finest.

The post and beam cabins were hand-built by Dale, who has a gift with woodcrafting.

All cabins are nonsmoking, wheelchair accessible and have snow machine and hiking trails nearby. Pets are allowed on approval.

The units are tucked quietly into wooded areas, giving guests optimum privacy. A full breakfast is served each morning at the B&B's main building, with a choice of omelets...
