Forged out of a passion for rock climbing, Momentum Indoor Climbing provides a wide range of rocky routes and resources for climbers of all ages and abilities.

For those looking to dabble in rock climbing, Momentum has many resources. The Experience Momentum Class is open to all those just starting out. According to Rich Connors, general manager at the Millcreek and Sandy locations, this class is an excellent way to gain basic rock climbing skills in a short amount of time. "Climbing was built on the sense of exploration and finding new routes and developing new areas or being the first to climb new areas," says Connors.

Walk-in top rope belay instruction is available at the Millcreek and Sandy locations, and bouldering is offered at all three. Climbing equipment, harnesses, shoes and belay devices can be rented, and chalk can be purchased in-house. Many youth programs and competitions take place at their facilities, and chaperoned birthday parties are available for climbers under the age of 12.

The gym also caters to the seasoned climber. Personal coaches are available to help anyone at any level achieve their goals, and are available for a few hours, a day, or even on a reoccurring basis. Momentum organizes...
