Modeling and Simulation Award Winners Announced.

* The National Training and Simulation Association--an affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association--recently bestowed several awards at its annual Interservice/Industry, Training, Simulation and Education Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Each year, NTSA presents the honors for outstanding achievement in the modeling, simulation and training fields.

A team from Conflict Kinetics Corp. won the education and human performance award. Conflict Kinetics is a patented human performance company specializing in small arms simulation and the elevation of the human weapon system backed by data for the life of the trainee.

In the training and simulation category, a team from Detachment 24, Pilot Training-Next within 19th Air Force was selected as the winner.

Detachment 24 is the driving force behind multiple Air Force innovation efforts.
