A misstep on Pilger.

I must admit I winced, after reading Matthew Rothschild's recent comments on the remarks of John Pilger ("Unmoored Words," Editor's Note, October issue). After the July 7 London attacks, Pilger said, "These are Blair's bombs."

Apparently Rothschild thinks not. "After all, Tony Blair did not make or plant or ignite these bombs," Rothschild writes, almost apologetically adding, "While his support for the Iraq War may have helped to incite the people who actually did make and plant and ignite the bombs, those terrorists--and that is who they are--must be held accountable for their...
