NAIOP Utah honored Mike Roderick of Roderick Realty as 2018 NAIOP Utah Developer of the Year for his impact on Utah's commercial development landscape, outstanding projects, and community support.

This year, 12 nominations were submitted. Of those, the board and event committee voted for five finalists who were shared with chapter membership for final voting. Mike Roderick rose to the top garnering 42 percent of the votes.

"Mike has more than earned this recognition. As one of Utah's prominent developers, he has positively impacted the industry. His keen adaptability, calculated decision making, and extensive community leadership has helped support market growth," said NAIOP Utah president Angela Eldredge and vice president of operations at Price Real Estate.

Mike is president and owner of Roderick Realty. He is also general partner of Roderick Enterprises, Fashion Square LP, Pheasant Hollow Business Park LLC, Valley American Investments, MROD Capital, and Roderick Management, who all develop and invest in commercial real estate throughout the Intermountain West.

Mike has personally developed over two million square feet of retail, industrial, and office properties and has leased or sold over $700 million of property throughout his career.
