MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR

I am pleased to introduce another fine edition of the Criminal Law Journal. One of the objectives of the CLJ is to present not only thought provoking scholarship, but also provide practical articles intended to assist the everyday practice of criminal law. This edition meets both objectives.

I would like to thank you for being a member of the Criminal Law Section. Your membership shows a commitment to a higher level of practice, and to California's criminal justice system.
