This will be my final column as the Labor and Employment Law Section's chair before passing the torch to our current vice-chair, Christina Ro-Connolly.

I am honored to highlight a sampling of our accomplishments during the past year. It is impossible for me to list all those on the Executive Committee who have collaborated and helped ensure the section's success. Instead, I send thanks to all and appreciation for your time and hard work.

For the first time since the pandemic, we returned to full in-person programming for our three flagship conferences: the 40th Annual Meeting, the 14th Advanced Wage and Hour Conference, and the 29th Public Sector Conference. All three events were sold out, and the enthusiasm for returning to the in-person format was quite high. Special thanks to our conference sponsors, including the record breaking number who supported our Annual Meeting and Advanced Wage and Hour Conference.

Our programs and conferences were presented and attended by distinguished labor and employment law practitioners, judges, and law school faculty. During the reception for the 40th Annual Meeting, the inaugural Pro Bono Achievement Award was given to Erik Johnson of Wilson Turner Kosmo LLP. Thank you to Nicole Heeder and the Awards...
