The first edition of this book came out in 1989, 27 years ago. Since then, there have been 12 updates of the book. This release contains 1,698 footnotes, about 90 percent of which are case opinions. It cites 39 new cases since the 2016 release.
A few cases address the debtor's personal liability for accruing postpetition interest on nondischargeable taxes in Chapter 13; under BAPCPA, upon final discharge, it appears that in many cases the debtor will remain personally liable for accrued but unpaid...
