Keenen D. Lovett

Keenen Lovett lives in Cortez and is a lifelong resident of Montezuma County. He served as president of the Four Corners Bar Association in 2016-17 and is the current vice president. He is married to Sarah Lovett and has two daughters, Summer and Jaclyn.

Why did you become a lawyer?

To give back to the community that raised me.

What's the best advice you've ever been given?

Preparation is the mother of success.

What is your favorite memory from law school?

The birth of my second daughter, Jaclyn.

What is one of the most positive experiences you've had as a lawyer?

Achieving positive outcomes for my clients.

What do you like the most about your practice area?

My practice is so broad that I get to learn and practice in so many areas. I enjoy that breadth.
