Compassionate. Dedicated. Inquisitive. Tenacious. Creative.

Why did you become a lawyer?

Simply put, I wanted to make a difference in the world. At 12 years old, I knew I wanted to be a lawyer. I had seen the commercials and watched the TV dramas, and my parents would be the first to tell you that I had a knack for persuasion. But it was not until I spent a day shadowing a lawyer that I truly understood how I could make a difference. On that day, I watched an attorney's poise as she listened to her client tell her story. I knew then that if I could earn the trust of someone in need and help them to get back on their feet, that would be a mark worth leaving.

What's the best advice you've ever been given?

You'll never know unless you try.
