Why did you become a lawyer?

I respect the rule of law and wanted a challenge.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

Work hard and be humble.

What is one of the most positive experiences you’ve had as a lawyer?

Over another party’s objection, I was able to ensure that a funeral home followed a Colorado Holocaust survivor’s directive to be buried in Israel before sunset on the Sabbath. The burial happened with less than two hours to spare!

What do you like the most about your practice area?

It sounds trite, but I love the people. It never ceases to amaze me how much elder law and probate are about interpersonal dynamics and the human condition.
