Member review: how to work with the IRS.

Joseph Bohlke, a member of the Minnesota Chapter, who works for General Mills wrote recently to comment on a recent book by Michael Gregory, a former senior IRS manager. Mr. Gregory wrote an article for the November-December 2011 issue of The Tax Executive magazine on "How to Work with IRS Management to Resolve IRS Field Specialist Issues." His book expands upon the article. In his message, Joe said:

I have been working in the corporate income tax world for more than 20 years and have worked with the Internal Revenue Service for the past 17 years. The process of resolving differences with the IRS can be incredibly challenging. Michael Gregory's book, How to Work with the IRS: Strategies for Attorneys. Accountants & Appraisers, will help anyone expecting to go down this path and is a must read for those currently working with (or for!) the IRS. The book is very informative and easy to read.
