After seven years of running The Mayan at Jordan Commons, the Larry H. Miller group of companies (LHM Group) has turned over operations to Atlantic Restaurant Consultants of South Carolina (ARC).

Sandy -- After seven years of running THE MAYAN at Jordan Commons, the LARRY H. MILLER GROUP OF COMPANIES (LHM Group) has turned over operations to ATLANTIC RESTAURANT CONSULTANTS OF SOUTH CAROLINA (ARC). ARC currently owns and operates three restaurant concepts in South Carolina. Partners Mike Evans and Keith Marshall have 60 years of combined experience in the food service industry.

The LHM Group originally hired ARC as consultants to evaluate operations at The Mayan and Spaghetti Mama's, both located at the Jordan Common complex in Sandy. Jay Francis, LHM Group executive vice president of operations, worked closely with Marshall and saw expenses reduced significantly. "I could tell after just two days that we were working with pros," Francis says.

After improving several aspects of both restaurants, ARC made an offer to take over the operations of The Mayan, The Mayan Express at Jordan Commons and Spaghetti Mama's.
