Dean Bochner is a partner at Horvitz & Levy LLP, the largest law firm in the nation specializing exclusively in appellate litigation. His appellate experience covers a wide range of practice areas, including products liability, medical malpractice, public entity liability, real property, employment, and contract disputes. Before joining Horvitz & Levy, Mr. Bochner served as a law clerk to Judge Barry G. Silverman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Elaine E. Bucklo of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Bochner is a member of the CLA Litigation Section's Committee on Appellate Courts.

Morgan Chu is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Irell & Manella LLP. Mr. Chu served a managing partner of the firm from 1997 to 2003 for a maximum two terms. He is presently Chair of the Litigation Group. Mr. Chu has received numerous honors including: the Chambers USA Award for Excellence as the nation's Outstanding Intellectual Property Lawyer (2006); recognition by The National Law Journal as one of the Top Ten Trial Lawyers two times and 100 Most Influential Lawyers in the United States every year since its inception; voted the top Super Lawyer in Southern California in a poll by Los Angeles magazine; induction into the California State Bar Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame (2014); Fellow, American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Chu has served as lead trial counsel in cases where he obtained payments from jury verdicts, judgments and settlements of more than $5 billion, and he has also received two awards for Top Ten Defense Verdicts.
