Fifteen years ... how time flies! As I reflect back on Utah Business magazine's 15-year history, I'm amazed at its rich tradition of journalistic excellence, business integrity, continuous improvement, and how the magazine continues to play such an important role in the Utah business scene.

Turning 15 is a milestone. Many companies have trouble surviving even their first year or two, so you can understand how excited we are about our progress, even as we continue to evolve.

Whether delivered in print or digitally (www.utahbusiness.com), we've enjoyed covering the people, companies, policies, practices and trends that shape Utah's economy. It's especially gratifying when readers tell us how Utah Business has positively impacted their company's bottom line and created positive changes.

When we hit our teens -- like many adolescents -- we began to express ourselves in new ways. The years just prior to turning 15 brought a burst of creativity and new energy. For example, we've added two new publications: Utah's only statewide "Book of Lists," now in it's 2nd edition in print and online (www.utahbusiness.com), and "The How To Book," a practical guide to buying business products and services. We've invested a great deal of time and money in the online version of our publication which allows readers to instantly access our top stories, daily business briefings, stock figures, archives, and the ever-changing business rankings. Almost annually, we revisit and update our design. For a business publication, we think we're pretty cutting edge.

But more important than any of the above, has been and continues to be, the depth and breadth of our editorial content.
