Martin University is a community within the community. The small school also has a distinct mission: to serve adult-age, low-income and minority students. Through the leadership of its founding president, Rev. Fr. Boniface Hardin, Martin University has made it possible for persons who never thought they would go to college to earn one or more degrees.

From its inception, Martin University has become an asset to Indianapolis and the local economy. The university offers 17 undergraduate and three graduate degrees to the more than 1,300 students currently enrolled.
