The 2003 ABAMN Advertising Awards ceremony, held last month at the ABA Marketing Conference, awarded Best of the Best and Certificates of Excellence awards to those in our industry who exhibited advertising brilliance. There were two additional awards given this year, a Best of Show and Judges' Special Award for two campaigns whose advertising message stood out from the rest. You will have the opportunity to examine these winners in future issues of the ABA Bank Marketing magazine.

For those who won an award, congratulations; for those who entered but did not win, congratulations as well. Recognition for one's work is important in the marketing profession. This year, many sought recognition for their ads. This enthusiasm was evidenced by a record amount of entries in this year's competition.
