Two of the many services that Financial Executives Research Foundation (FERF) provides free of charge to Financial Executives International (FEI) members, are "Ask FERF" (accessed online at www.ferf.org) and FELIX PC, the Financial Executives List Exchange for Private Companies.

Both services allow FEI members to ask questions of the FERF staff and other FEI members. The inquiries often ask for policies and procedures, checklists and other practical guidance, which can be especially useful for members employed by smaller companies and start-ups.

One book that should be of interest to many FEI members is Managing the Audit Function: A Corporate Audit Department Procedures Guide, authored by FEI President and CEO Michael P. Cangemi and Tommie Singleton.
